The flowers can be used in cooking, including tea. It also makes a good sache for use in the clothes dryer.
History
Lavender has been used for thousands of years. The Egyptians used it in mummification, the Romans used it for bathing. Its name comes from the Latin: lavare, meaning “to wash”.
