Camellia oil is probably best known for it’s use in cooking, being used especially in the southern provinces of China. It is reputed to be naturally high in vitamin E and antioxidants, with no trans-fats. However, many of the qualities that make it excellent for cooking, we feel, makes it an excellent choice for a skin cream.
We’ve made skin creams from many oils, including Olive, Jojoba, Coconut, and others, but none of them made quite as nice a skin cream as the Camellia oil. It makes a light, unscented skin cream that leaves skin feeling lovely and soft.
This would also make an excellent choice for a base cream to add your own scents or herbal ingredients.
Because this is an all natural cream we recommend you keep the large (120 ml) jar in the fridge and just fill (using a clean utensil) a small jar to carry with you. The 15 ml Camellia Cream is perfect for this purpose. Many people like to buy both sizes to start so that they have the carrying jar and the storage jar.
