Yunnan tea; also known as Dianhong tea – hails from 500 to 2,700 year old tea plants in the Yunnan province of China. It is partially fermented tea suited to those who enjoy black or green tea.
Brew for 3 to 4 minutes until the infusion is a nice amber colour. See our blog for more details on how to brew tea.
Does it contain caffeine? Yes. The tea plant (Camellia sinensis) naturally contains caffeine, although where it’s grown, the age of the tea leaves when picked, the length of brewing time, and the methods of fermentation or drying of the tea leaves will contribute to varying levels of caffeine.
